What families have said

Goes Funeral Care was recommended to me by Bristol Hospice to provide cremation services for my Dad. I found them to be flexible and very easy to work with. The pricing was straightforward and transparent with no hidden fees. Dane was the service provider working with me, and he was caring and very professional. He asked questions in an effort to get to know my Dad a bit even though he knew there would be no service or viewing that they were facilitating. I would recommend Goes for anyone needing funeral or cremation services in Northern Colorado.

We worked with Dane and Chris, who treated my mom who passed and the family members with such care and dignity. Goes is highly professional and very easy to work with, and the staff is so kind. We appreciate the services they provided during this sad time.

Do yourself a favor and go to Goes! I met with Ashley to discuss pre-planning, and she was everything you could hope for: kind, patient, understanding, professional, and very knowledgeable. They provide all sorts of services, including water cremation and green burial ---- both much more environmentally friendly than other options. Highly recommend Goes.

The first experience of losing someone in your home is especially emotional and can leave you feeling far outside your comfort zone. That was not the case when Chris came to pick up my dad who had been in hospice for 2 weeks and passed. Chris was dressed in a suit at 4:35am: extremely professional, compassionate, and reassuring during such a difficult time. He thoughtfully addressed all of our questions, asked the necessary ones, and handled the transport of my dad with great care. He was so helpful and transparent & suggested that if we wanted to keep the cost down we would involve them as little as possible in the planning. Communication throughout the entire process was exceptional, and they made everything clear and comforting for our family. Everyone we worked with was excellent at their job. Serenity was our funeral director, and she was both efficient and genuinely compassionate throughout the process. She reached out multiple times, uploaded his obituary and pictures and contacted the out of state paper we wanted to run the obituary and arranged everything we needed to do to make that happen. This facility was recommended to us as it is a small, locally owned business, I highly suggest you work with Goes if you want personal care.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
