“I went here on a Tuesday for my friend’s funeral. It was an incredibly sad moment. The funeral home and the staff were amazing. They made such a difficult day a little easier through the quality of care and service they provided to my friend’s family. It’s definitely not a place anyone wants to be, but as life happens, we all face these moments. This funeral home is truly excellent at what they do.”
“Wallace Funeral Home is compassionate and economical. Rory the funeral director made sure that our family was able to have services for my mother and grandmother who passed away in December 2020 3days apart. Carita made a huge transformation because my mother didn’t look like herself. It was one of the most difficult experiences of my life but the staff there walked me through all the steps and helped where they could. Thank you for everything that you do for our community.”
“DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE FLORIST SERVICES!!!! The service is incompetent and the Wallace F.H. staff has extremely poor customer service. Use your own florist! Yesterday, my cousin's husband funeral was held at Wallace, where I later discovered our plant was not delivered for the wake or funeral. Even my family members who were present asked the Wallace staff. They just gave an uncaring response and said... no additional flowers were given. I called the Wallace office the next day and spoke to a very rude lady who told me they couldn't check because the funeral was over!! I told her that was unacceptable and someone needs to research this. I paid for a product that wasn't produced. And I used Wallace's online flower ordering proccess. The phone went silent....I kept saying hello and waited for a response. The staff person wouldn't respond and then hung up on me! I began to search for my receipt in email, that confirmed my purchase on 8/26 for the service on 8/28. In fact, it was made online for a Peace Lilly plant which takes minimal preparation...a bow and card placed on the plant. I called the florist service that was connected to the Wallace website and received very professional customer service. They apologized they couldn't find a local florist. Which seems odd when there are numerous florist in the area. However upon my request, they refunded my money with no issues. Note: Wallace F. H. Never apologized for how this issue was handled. Instead tried to blame it on other things. Overall, It was terrible to be treated so unrespectfully during this time. I guess after careful thought ....the Wallace office later called to inform me of what I had already handled Myself....that the florist was refunding my money. Note: This is a result of what I did... not the Wallace office staff. Wallace F.H. ...you should have contacted your online flower service from the beginning when you were addressed with this problem. Instead of being rude to a customer. Admit your online system doesn't work. Based on this, I wouldn't recommend this funeral home to family. The way people are treated in every aspect, matters. What a terrible experience.”
“During one of the most difficult times of our lives, the funeral staff handled everything with true professionalism and care. The entire process was seamless and far less worrisome than we expected. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, compassionate, and professional, which brought a sense of ease and comfort during such a stressful situation. We truly appreciated the support and attention throughout the entire experience. Lanetta Phillips”
“The caring and professional staff at Wallace Funeral Home were phenomenal. I was in the midst of the storm when my mom passed. I could not think and had never been through the planning process , but they were very patient and compassionate. Couldn't have made it through without them! Thank you to all, especially Rory and Carita!!”
