What families have said

Recent reviews from families who used Wilton Mortuary Inc. Reviews are sourced from Google Places and shown verbatim — we do not edit or filter for sentiment.

They have been absolutely excellent and totally professional. My son passed away at age 21. It was really difficult to deal with. We didn't have the money to properly have a funeral but they worked out a plan. We can pay him. Besides that, every service and every minute of what they did was excellent. I couldn't recommend if you ever in the situation or need a place to memorial acts a loved one. This would be the place I would recommend

Very professional and personal service. My family has been using Wilton's for 50 years or more. We were out of state at the time of the last death, and to no surprise Wilton's had everything taken care of with just one call. It's no wonder why they are Peoria's oldest and finest.

This one hits hard but at the same time I had no complaints. This was a personal family owned business and found out it no longer is. But, Tiffany is still there and has been for quite some time and that helped with the transition and family based connection. I appreciate everything and the last minute necklace urns that miss jessica helped us with. These ladies are amazing and so accommodating. I appreciate all of your help. Rachel hayden/morgan

They are the kindest and most helpful people you could ever choose for your loved ones. They have now helped me with the passing of my mom and dad. They are most helpful and show great empathy to their clients.

Jessica and team handled everything very professionally and with compassion for my mother's death. Our family have used Wilton for over 60 years, 4 generations.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
