What families have said

Willis Funeral Home helped me and my family arrange for my Mothers service in a trust that was planned when she originally fell ill. When the time came that she passed having that trust in place was a load off my mind . The staff was attentive to my Mothers every need and they were very supportive and helpful with the service and all the arrangements . Even afterwards the staff called and checked on me to make sure I was ok and to see if anything else was needed that they could help with . I will always be grateful for their assistance in my time of need

Our family has always had outstanding experiences with everyone at Willis Funeral Home. While going through the hardest of times after the loss of a loved one we have always been treated with compassion, patience and kindness. They have always seen to it that our loved ones arrangements and services are what the family requests were. I never thought about receiving any follow-up messages to just check in on us to see how we were doing, but it meant a lot when someone from the funeral home reached out to us a few weeks after my uncle's service. Thank you!

Willis Funeral Home has assisted in the funerals of my mother-in-law and father-in-law, my dad, and most recently my mom. They are kind, compassionate, and so very helpful at the times when we’ve needed their guidance. Our family is so thankful to Matt, Letty, and the entire staff for coming alongside us and helping us navigate through this process. There’s no one we would have trusted more with the care of those we loved so much. Thank you, Willis Funeral Home!

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
