“This mortuary was so kind, empathetic, and did a wonderful service during the hardest time of our lives. Cannot recommend them enough.”
“I recently acquired their service for my nephews funeral. From the start the funeral Director, Elizabeth Faller, was rude, insensitive and unsympathetic. She wanted to spell out every detail of the arrangements. And resisted and discouraged the families wishes. In other words she didn’t want to customize any of the family’s requests. There Was absolutely no follow through on any part of their service. They refused to except or hold any of the flowers for the service simply because we had elected to have his service at a church and not their facility. But when I ask about this they never informed me they wouldn’t do it instead they started turning the flowers around and away. The rest of the Funeral staff was polite kind and helpful. And quite honestly they all seem to be terrified of Elizabeth!!! They simply were no help during our bereavement. So if you want to be treated like a second class citizen and experience poor customer service by all means this is the funeral home for you.”
“If you want an empathetic service for your loved ones.. you don’t want to use this mortuary. First, Elizabeth is not a person you want to deal with during sorrow. She was very rude and curt with my 84yr old grandmother who lost her son. My personal opinion she would be better suited in career such on an assembly line, where she didn’t have to deal with the public. When inquiring about certain aspects of the death process (I suppose out of sequence of Elizabeth’s liking) instead of answering the questions, she said, “We’ll get to that!” I then counted 3 different times when she said to our family, “that she couldn’t do that, or this.. or didn’t have time today” because she had another family coming in at 1pm and another family coming in a 3pm. Umm excuse me mam, no hard feelings but I do not care about those families. You are suppose to be nurturing our family and our family needs no matter how long it takes or what questions or concerns we may have or arise. Those families should be assigned to another staff member if you are still working with another family, especially when you are due to get $10,700.00 direct deduction out of my grandmothers checking account to pay for her sons funeral. Not good business. Then- as she tried to discourage us not to view our family members body due to the decomposition, 3 out of 4 of us are in the healthcare field, 2 being nurses.. we care for dead bodies for a living.. we stood firm in the decision that we wanted to see him. Elizabeth told us she would have to gather consent forms for us to sign to see the body. (LETS POINT OUT SHE CHARGED US UNBEKNOWNST TO US $195 for a “Private Family Viewing”) We stepped outside for a breather, when my 5 year old came with us. Elizabeth had shown my 5 year old some fidget magnets on her desk earlier in the visit and allowed her to play with them. There was no formality in departing ways from the facility as we took our breather outside while awaiting Elizabeth to gather the consent forms. My daughter brought the fidget magnets with her and was sitting on the front porch playing with them when Adam (a staff member) came outside and said, “She sent me out here to get these, these are not for people to take! And she has broken them!” Before I could process exactly what he said, my aunt quickly corrected him and told him she didn’t take them she was playing with them and we were going to take them back in when we came back in. Nor did Adam even understand how the fidget magnets work, you can’t break them! As a nurse, I also make a great deal of money.. I assure you I can afford $5.79 pack of fidget magnets for my child. We don’t steal! We don’t have to! My 5 year child felt the scold of Adam’s response and instantly buried her head into me and started crying. This morning I received an email from Elizabeth stating how she could not get ahold of my grandmother and that my grandmother didn’t arrive this morning at her 10am deadline.. for what we are still not exactly sure of. We were unaware of any 10am deadline other than the 40 pics that was to be emailed to Elizabeth for the slideshow when we left our rushed meeting the day before. At the end of Elizabeth’s email she stated if my grandmother didn’t get in touch with her that our family members funeral was going to be postponed!?!? That was it for me, I asked my grandmother to have our family member moved out of there and transferred to another mortuary. We were a bother from the start and obviously impeding on the 1pm and 3pm families Elizabeth was eagerly awaiting, so we needed to get out their way and no longer be a bother to their company.”
“My family n wife's family have used Weatherfords for years. They have always treated us good in our time of sorrow. And always done a great job on our loved ones that have passed. So unless things change we will continue to use them.”
“I want to thank the funeral director, Matthew Clark, for his patience, kindness, and professionalism. Everyone at Weatherford helped our family through a very difficult time.”
