“Woods Mortuary did a fantastic job making a difficult situation as painless as possible. They provided guidance and support for the whole family as we navigated the celebration of life for my mom. We were involved in every decision and the staff took care of all the details behind the scenes. They coordinated with a local florist to custom make the flower spread with pink roses and Stargazer lillies. They even accomodated my mom's hair stylists and allowed her to style her hair for the last time. The chapel service was perfect and the family appreciated Woods taking the time to find my mom's favorite song so it could be incorporated into the service. I can't say enough how caring and helpful everyone was. I couldn't have found a better mortuary to take care of my mom.”

“They were so helpful, nice and patient with us. They helped me and my sisters put together a beautiful service for my mama. Levi was so nice and helpful. He even took time out of his Thanksgiving holiday to make sure everything was where it needed to be. He even reapplied my mom's makeup 4 times until it was perfect. He was patient and she looked so much more like herself. I hope you don't have to be in this circumstance, but if you find yourself losing a loved one I definitely recommend Woods Mortuary.”

“Woods Mortuary has handled many of my family’s funeral experiences and have always been very kind and supportive to the family members and guests. My dad passed in September and they were absolutely amazing and worked with us to provide him with his military funeral. The day we had his service there was a hurricane hitting FL and many service members were being sent there, the weather here was not the greatest but they had it all worked out.”

“I wish I didn't have a Woods experience, but since I do, here it goes. My Mama passed in December. Woods took care of her entirely, from picking her up, getting Mama ready, and then to cremation. They were with me every step of the way! They never made me feel like a burden, never once brushed off an email, and were timely and honest with all questions and requests (Finger prints, small ash baggies for build-a-bears, and her gorgeous hair. They also did my sweet cremation necklaces.). Thank you for letting me know about grief being normal and that it never is the same per person. (Thank you for letting me write Mama's obituary! My Mama loved her job as a CNA and She'd give you the shirt off her back if she even thought you needed it!), helping me through the first few months (The daily emails are truly worth the weight in gold! I can't tell you how on point they are!), and seeing that I had my ducks in a row. I can't ever repay y'all, but I am eternally grateful for everything!!!! “In my opinion, Woods Mortuary did anything but provide peace of mind to me when my husband passed this past August. There was an overpayment and instead of making the overpayment check to me who was the beneficiary on the Will they made the check out to my husband’s estate. My attorney advised me not to open the estate, but because Woods Mortuary would not make the check payable to me of which I paid them cash for the funeral three years ago and my pre-needs, I have had to make four trips down to Probate in Spartenburg and I have yet to get the paperwork I need to cash the $675 check that was my money paid to them! So buyer beware if your loved one passes away make sure you are listed as the beneficiary on their policy. It doesn’t bother them. They got their money. Here I am the widow times are tough, $675 would be a big help right now. No more Woods Mortuary for me!”
