“I can’t say enough good things about Lawrence and the rest of the staff. From the moment we called to the moment we left after the service, they made such a naturally difficult process very easy and manageable for our family. Incredibly kind and always going well above and beyond for our family, and we cannot thank them enough for that. I can’t recommend them enough to take care of you during a time of grief and sadness for your family. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Simply wonderful.”
“Saying a final goodbye to our loved ones is an experience we all share at some point in our lives. Saying goodbye to a wife of 44 years has been the most difficult experience I have ever had to go through, and I suspect it will remain that way. My experience at The Island Funeral Home and Crematory was excellent. In particular, Valerie was kind, compassionate and understanding especially at moments of sudden grief that would come over me. I got to meet the rest of the staff on the day of the Celebration of Life for my wife Gail. Everything went so smoothly, when all I could do was keep my composure. The cost was very reasonable, the service was excellent and the personal attention and guidance was so important to bring lasting memories of Gail to everyone who attended.”
“I cannot say enough about Monica Roberts and her services provided after my mom passed away. I am so incredibly lucky that we had Monica to take care of my mom's final preparations. Monica is warm, sweet and professional, and helped my sister and I get through this extremely difficult process with kindness and thoughtfulness. She was so helpful; from every phone call and email to our in-person meeting to plan. I am so grateful that the hospital recommended Island Funeral Home. Their staff is exceptional.”
“While I do not wish for anyone to have to go through the planning process that comes after a loved one has passed, I will always, without question, recommend Island Funeral Home should that time ever come. Valerie was exceptional. She was kind, caring, respectful and beyond helpful after my mom passed away unexpectedly in an accident. I was lost. Valerie made the most difficult time in my life and my family’s lives as bearable as possible. I cannot thank Valerie and the rest of the Island Funeral Home team enough for treating my mom with such respect and for being such an exceptional support system. Thank you from the entire Warth family. We appreciate you beyond words.”
“During a very difficult time, everyone at Island Funeral Home was simply exceptional. Our loved one was transported and cared for with grace and dignity. Missy was compassionate and understood the grief we experienced, providing both comfort and guidance for important decisions. We cannot fully express our gratitude to Missy and the entire staff as they were exceptional.”
