We had such a great experience with every step of the funeral arrangements for our dear mother. Marcus was so thorough and gave a nice amount of time to ask questions. Not one flaw start to finish. This helped make that service a very sweet memory. Thank you. We would highly recommend choosing Spooner Funeral Home for your loved ones final arrangements.

Terrible service. Wouldn't let me see my mother in law before she was cremated. Has to be a blood relative just to get in. Sitting here balling my eyes our as they are being very rude and selfish. What a joke. Don't have funerals here ever!!!!!

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
