This was my first experience having to bury someone. I called a few funeral homes and decided on Skyway mostly because Shawn & Greg were so helpful in honoring all of my mothers wishes and I am so grateful doing everything they could to stay within our budget. This has been the worst week of my life but Shawn & Greg made it a little bit better and I am very thankful. I understand now why so many of my family members have buried loved ones here.

Our pre-need arrangements were flawlessly carried out by Skyway. Scott spent extra time arranging for my husband's military honors. Our family appreciates the professional, caring, and thorough dedication shown by everyone with whom we interacted.

I would like to give 10 stars! Our funeral director Scott Countryman went above and beyond to make sure that after my Mother’s passing everything went perfectly! Scott was accommodating, kind and professional!

This place has been paid in FULL a year ago when my brother passed away. Until now, a year later, my brother’s tombstone has NOT been placed! After repeated phone calls to them with them stating “we have this as a high priority”, I have yet to see the priority of my brother finally resting in peace when NO ONE can locate his burial site when visiting him. VERY, HUGELY UPSET about how this has been handled. Lesson: DO NOT pay them in FULL until the work has been completed!! If I could rate a zero which is NOt an option, that would be my rating!

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
