My Aunt passed away in Texas in the middle of May of this year. Rowe funeral home went above and beyond bringing her back to her home town Grand Rapids MN. Thru picking her up at the airport a round trip of 7 hours driving to all the other details they were awesome. Dave and his team thought of things we would not have thought of and were no mistakes or accidents with my Aunts funeral and Graveside services. Every penny we spent was well spent because Dave was above reproach and never was unprofessional or not understanding. Thanks so much Dave and your team for a good experience under the circumstances .

Came in for a necklace filled with remains of my Grandpa for a cousin but was also curious on how American funeral homes were run so asked if I could ask question and look around and because they had time, the front desk lady was kind enough to pair me up with one of the funeral directors who was named Tim. Tim was amazing. I arrived at around 11am-12pm and left at 2:30pm with so much more information and knowledge. Tim was kind enough to answer all my questions, show me around and was just super patient. This might be the only funeral home in Grand Rapids but it sure is a great one. Very kind and patient staff.

I can't say enough how wonderful Rowe Funeral home is. Our family has used them for years. My mom just had her funeral there. It was so beautiful, they were there every step of the way to help the family. I can't say enough how amazing Leah was to work with. She is a angel sent to help the family in grief. This job was made for her. Thank you again for all you help. I'd give them over 5 stars if I could.

My son was stillborn and Dan made the process easy and bearable. I appreciate him more than he'll ever know. The worst time of my life and he helped my family and I get through it. Goes above and beyond.

Having a parent pass during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic does make things easy. The staff at Rowe was so knowledgeable and supportive it really made the process as easy as it could be from beginning to end, they took care of the whole family in big and small ways.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
