The Christmas Rememberance program to honor my loved one was very heart touching. Thank you for going above and beyond your jobs like you did. I found the staff to be very friendly and caring. I am so glad I choose your funeral home for our families needs. The staff made my loss seem less stressful with their loving care. The large sitting area and kitchen was nice for our large family, and very clean. I would highly recommend this funeral home and the staff to anyone! ❤️ If your looking for a funeral home that will pay attention to every detail, and care for your family like their own, then this funeral home is who you need to trust your family members with.

I am not sure where to begin. The staff at the funeral home was amazing and truly remarkable. We lost my dad unexpectedly on June 4th. The process started with contacting them to talk about transporting and then we knew dad wanted to be home in WJ for his services. They entire process was amazing. My entire family feels like we have gained an entire family from Rader-McDonald-Tidd. They explained the entire process in full details and broke it all down in terms we can understand. They were there the day of the service/funeral for all of us and provided us with the love we so needed. They listened to what we wanted and at no time questioned what we wanted. I will never be able to Thank Paula Hay for her amazing generous heart. She has checked on us even after the services and she just made sure everything was what we wanted and gave her whole heart to our family. We will never be able to thank the entire staff for what they have done for our family. We will always hold them close to our hearts. The worst nightmare we ever faced and they gave us the love and support we need to make it through the unimagineable.

My mother, father, and my late husband was in the care of Rader McDonald Tidd FH. They took extra efforts to insure they had everything just the way we wanted for their funeral. I wanted their funeral to be built on how they lived their lives, full of love. The funeral home is very clean, and has a warm atmosphere. It is hard loosing a loved one, but the funeral director showed compassion and wanted to make sure he did everything in our loved ones honor. This made the loss a lot easier, and knowing our loved one’s were in good hands.

Rader, McDonald, Tidd provided exceptional care for my mother and family. Each and every person we encountered made all of us feel as though we were at home during the entire process. They were patient with changes and were careful to honor our every request. We were given warm hugs during the most difficult times and they anticipated our every need. We were provided with gentle suggestions to guide us and never felt as though they were selling anything. The Funeral Directors provided gentle, yet honest answers to our many questions. Rader, McDonald, Tidd provided professional service and yet, left my family with a sense that we had been taken care of by family members rather than Funeral Directors. They allowed us to tailor a service unique to my mother's desires. Finally, I was so personally very impressed that my family received such terrific service knowing that Rader, McDonald, Tidd was preparing for a very, very large service the day after my mother's service. No one would have ever known. Thank you to all at Rader, McDonald, Tidd for taking such great care of my mother and family during such a vulnerable and difficult time. It was perfect! If I were asked to summarize the care my family received from Rader, McDonald, Tidd, I would have to say the service we received was genuine, gentle, very intuitive, and yet quite professional. I highly recommend Rader, McDonald, Tidd to anyone. Sheila Stevers HER Realtors

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
