During one of the most difficult times in our lives, Oliverie Funeral Home provided outstanding support, compassion, and professionalism. From the first phone call, the staff treated our family with empathy and respect. They handled every detail with care, ensuring the service was exactly what we envisioned to honor our loved one. The facility was peaceful and welcoming, and the team guided us through each step with patience and understanding. They made a painful process feel manageable and gave us space to grieve without stress. We are truly grateful for the kindness and dignity they showed throughout. I highly recommend them to any family needing thoughtful, respectful care during a loss.

The staff at Oliverie was professional, kind, and helpful throughout a difficult time. Geri guided us through the entire process after our father passed away. When we lost our mother only a few months later it was a team effort. May organized the arrangements beautifully, and Grace was wonderfully supportive on the day of the funeral. Since then, Elizabeth has continued to offer assistance, following up to check on our family’s needs. We highly recommend Oliverie Funeral Home and would like to thank the staff for their commitment and courtesy.

Geri and the entire Oliverie team did a wonderful job with my husband's funeral. From the moment we gave their name and number to the facility where my husband was at they were on top of everything. This was late at night on Thanksgiving Eve!! Geri knew exactly what questions to ask concerning the decisions I needed to make and gave me the time to discuss them with my children. Our meeting with her was quick and professional. We left feeling that we had made the right decision coming to Oliverie. The final price was reasonable as well. The funeral itself was handled with care and dignity. Oliverie helped us to give my husband the type of final «Goodbye" that he deserved.

What a wonderful group of people. They were so caring and helpful with the arrangements for my Mother. When she passed I knew there would only be one place I would go to to help me and that is Oliverie. My friend used them back a few years ago when her fiance died and I was so impressed with them then and I'm still impressed with them now. Thank you so much for all your help! Suzanne Thomas

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
