It was a nightmare and getting worse by the minute. I called Vanessa on a Friday afternoon and met with her the following Monday. She got everything back on track quickly. From the minute I talked with her I felt more at ease and it got easier the more we worked together. By law (10 U.S.C. § 1491), an eligible veteran's funeral can include, on request, an honors detail of at least two service members who fold and present the U.S. flag to the family and play Taps.
