“Planning a service for a loved one is difficult, but Russ at Morris Baker Funeral Home gently led me through all the decisions letting me make my own choices. His compassion was genuine and he helped and supported me throughout the entire process and afterwards.”
“I will share my experience at Morris Baker by starting at the beginning. The first person I contacted was my funeral director Katie Johnson. Katie's help and care I think helped me the most with my loss of Linda. She did a great service for me from explaining the contracts and answering all of mine and the family's questions. It seemed she was always there by my side when I was greiving the hardest. She helped with the selections of the materials like the casket and vault and gave us as much time as needed to decide. I especially want to thank Katie for helping to select the funeral book and in providing many choices for the message in the funeral memorial card. We found one that was really nice. All the other staff at Morris Baker was helpful and all would take time just to listen and help me grieve. The only thing I wish they would do for other families in the future is to add a second book for people to sign. If they would put a second signature book on a stand on the right as you come in the chapel, I think that would help. I never found where the signature book was located to the left on a wall. I believe others could miss it also and some people may miss signing the signature book because of that. This is not a complaint at all just a suggested improvement. I cannot complain at all. The Morris Baker funeral home exceeded all my expectations for a funeral home service.
