We just finished up the memorial for my sweet 89 yr old mother in law yesterday. Years ago she purchased a package from Florida Memorial. I have to admit I thought that was odd but I can now see exactly why she did! She definitely streamlined the process for her family. Florida Memorial staff were absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish! From flowers, food, moms makeup, care and etc. They remained on top of things and the staff stepped up constantly before and during the actual service. Beatrice, LaShaundra and every staff member were just so kind and positive. Even the sweet receptionist that had to take many of my calls and knew me by name was a pleasure each time I called. Thank you ALL so very much!

My family and I are grateful for the kindness and professionalism we received from Dignity by their amazing team: LaShaunda, Stephanie, Aaliyah, Judah, CeCe, and Leroy. LaShaunda guided us through all decisions to plan a memorial Celebration of Life for my father and the next steps of his cremation. We appreciated their warm hospitality to a packed Celebration of Life and the commitment to compassion in our time of loss. May God bless your service.

I cannot say enough wonderful words of praise for this venue! From start to finish, they did an amazing job with each and every detail as we planned a Celebration of Life for my mother. Todd Garfield was the utmost professional, and so very good at his job dealing with so many details. He helped and guided my family with the planning. He was always prompt, kind, courteous and helpful. He listened to details and created a beautiful display that captured so many elements of our mother. The staff at the service were very helpful and thorough. Dealing with the loss of a loved one, and having to face the many aspects of planning a service is very daunting, but with every choice and decision, this event center staff was just perfect! I highly recommend the Life Event Center!

My husband had a wonderful Memorial Service at The Life Event Center. Also, the tribute video for my husband has been beautifully done. The tribute table for my husband was also wonderful.

The staff at Dignity genuinely cared about us at a very difficult time for our family. I really didn’t feel this was just them being a good funeral home. The care was genuine. They were compassionate and completely upfront about everything. It all happened exactly as they said it would. There is nothing more I could have wanted, expected or hoped for than what they delivered.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
