Leroy Wooster Funeral Home in Atco NJ is a beautiful place to have your service for yourself or a loved one. My mom planned ahead for her own funeral to make it easier for our family. When the time came for me to go in and sit with Leroy for the finishing touches and plan a day, he was very helpful, compassionate, patient and kind as he came up along side of me. He was able to answer all my questions and help me with the ones I did not understand and was very patient to explain in more detail. During the day of the funeral, the staff was so helpful and so very kind as they also came up along side of me to get the areas set up to display photos and flowers. My Mother’s Funeral turned out as perfect as my Mother would have imagined it to have been. Thank you so much Leroy and Staff!

I want to thank the Wooster Family and staff for the beautiful Commematory Service on Sunday for all loved ones who passed away in 2025. We all received a beautiful Dove ornament with our loved ones name engraved on it. This was such a beautiful tribute also showing our loved ones in a video. Thank you again. Diane Messina

Losing my beautiful wife, and my soul mate and partner in life was the hardest thing I will ever endure. And I cannot speak highly enough of the Owner Leroy and his entire staff at Wooster’s funeral home. They are loving and caring like they are your family. They were so helpful and helping me in the darkest time of my life. Speaking from the heart I highly recommend using Worcester’s funeral Home, if you have lost a precious loved one like I have you will understand how I feel about about This funeral home. God bless them.

There's likely not enough room in this text box to effectively express how incredible the people running this business are. My mother passed in February from breast cancer. In preparation of an impossible loss and amidst the trauma of her hospitalization, I found myself faced with a slew of incredibly unhelpful / cold conversations with other funeral homes. We really wanted a facility that had cremation capabilities on site, which is what led us to Wooster. I initially spoke with LeRoy directly and it was the most comforting, convenient and compassionate experience. In life's most trying times, it would seem natural that this would be the approach of all establishments in the funeral business, but it certainly was not and I hope to save others the hardship of going through that search. Go to Wooster. Karen is who we were blessed to work with and she is genuinely an angel on earth - the level of care and kindness she showed in helping us navigate the entire process is something I'll never forget.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
