What families have said

Recent reviews from families who used Lee Funeral Home & Crematory. Reviews are sourced from Google Places and shown verbatim — we do not edit or filter for sentiment.

Lee Funeral Home treated us with the utmost respect as we navigated the “business” of my father’s death. Bob took the time to explain to us the process of cremation and our options for burying the ashes or selecting an urn, and Lee Funeral Home had prepared my father’s body for private viewing since we were having a delayed memorial service in another state several weeks after his passing. In addition, because my father was a veteran, when we arrived at Lee, the flag in front of the building was at half mast with a plaque under it with the Marine Corps emblem and Dad’s name. It was a wonderful and thoughtful touch that meant a lot to us. I would not hesitate to recommend Lee Funeral Home because they will treat the loved one who has passed and their family with care and compassion.

My wife wife passed away and we had talked to Mr. Allen Lee in advance because we had a pre paid Trust Fund in NY ; when it occurred we sat down and he explained everything in detail with no hidden fees and he would bill the trust directly. My daughter said to me as we left, Mr. Lee and his staff was so compassionate and comforting in our time of grief. He delivered on all his promises. The service was handled so professional and friends and neighbors all remarked on how well everything was done.

The staff at Lee's funeral home were amazing. From the moment they arrived at the house after my mom passed to the funeral mass they were professional and comforting. Jessica was so compationate and guided us through all the arrangements for my mom. Mr. Lee handled all the details of the funeral mass to make it less stressful for my family and the perfect tribute to my mother.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
