Barry and the staff at Lane were amazing as I laid my precious mother to rest. They went above and beyond to make the process as painless as possible. They attended every need and question in a warm professional manner that left me feeling comfortable and assured. I highly recommend them!

Lane Funeral Home never forgets our first responders — police, fire, EMS, rescue, and our 9-1-1 public safety telecommunicators. Their generosity reflects what makes this community special: taking care of those who take care of others. From the entire 9-1-1 team, thank you for the delicious meal and for always remembering us. Your kindness means more than you know.

Top notch professionalism and a wonderful group of people to work with during a very hard season of losing a loved one. I highly recommend Barry, Ed, and the rest of the Lane FH staff.

I have been managing the most compassionate team I have ever worked with in 30 years since September. Prior to my arrival, there have been a myriad of problems that have been addressed. The facility has been remodeled and a baby grand piano has been added. Too, after doing a Cost comparison, this was surprisingly the most compassionately priced traditional funeral home in the area. I have to say that I am definitely serving my community as I have always wanted. With purpose, dignity and compassion. I stand behind every work I have uttered and beg of you to allow us to serve you...we will not let you down.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
