“I would like to commend the staff of Lake Lawn Funeral Home and Metairie Cemetery. Elise was very helpful in assisting us with planning all the details of my mother's funeral. She was always available to answer the many questions we had and arranged everything so that the visitation as well as the mass in the chapel were beautiful. Marcia did an amazing job helping us gather 16 signatures from family members so my mother could be interred in the family grave. The family is scattered throughout the country and much of the contact information we had was incorrect but she stuck with it and we completed everything within 2 days. She kept us all calm through what seemed to us to be a confusing situation. Both Marcia and Elise were professional, helpful, and above all, caring and personable. They and the rest of the staff at the funeral home and cemetery are amazing people. Thank you.”
“Beautiful, well managed cemetery. Received a wonderful impromptu tour from Mr. Jerry Schone. I am a local historian from upstate New York and Jerry just happened to run into us and he took time out of his busy schedule to show us several very interesting pieces of history. Thank you.”
“Lake Lawn was so helpful with getting my husbands arrangements done. The staff was so efficient with getting all of the documents and necessary paperwork complete. They were very important in every way. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.”
“Thank you for your kind and caring staff. We were well informed while our wants and needs were addressed without any issues. Luckily, we were blessed our parents had a burial policy thru Lakelawn and we were able to give mom the kind of funeral she deserved. Thank you for everything”
