I would like to thank Gary Burr, Mike Krill, along with the rest of the staff that assisted in my mothers service/arrangements. You all did a great job even under the COVID-19 circumstances. I would like to mention the incredible job that was done in preparing the body. My mother looked amazing! My daughter and I had not seen my mother since last December. She was supposed to come visit us in just a couple weeks before her sudden death... When my daughter and I approached the casket I asked my daughter “doesn’t Grammy look good?” My four year old replies with “ she looks just as beautiful as last time I saw her”. Her words brought me to tears for she was right. She did look just as beautiful as the last time we saw her. I cannot tell you what that means. The care in preparation with my mother was astonishing. I was so very grateful for it! I want to thank you all again from the bottom of my heart! She looked so incredible! I am truly thankful I could see her looking as if she was happy and at peace because at the end of the day that is all we want for our loved ones! ❤️ I would recommend your service to anyone! Which honestly says a lot because I am not one to recommend anything unless I truly believe the business can provide excellence service. Which you all were very competent in doing so.

Krill funeral home was amazing for the death of my son. When I got to Ohio and had no clue how I was going to get this taken care of. Krill ( I'm sorry I don't remember the wonderful man who helped us), was there for me and my family. He gave us extra time to say our goodbyes. The most amazing part was his compassion felt genuine.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
