“Krauss Funeral Home went above and beyond for our family during one of the hardest times of our lives. From the very beginning, Steve was incredibly helpful and compassionate through every step of the preparation. When the church actually forgot that it was my grandmother’s funeral, Steve immediately stepped in and made sure everything was handled, including ensuring that my cousin was still able to sing Ave Maria during the service. That moment meant so much to our family, and we will never forget how calmly and professionally he took care of it. Rose-Marie, was just as wonderful—so kind, organized, and supportive. She was able to secure a burial plot for us at a very strict Catholic cemetery that would not sell directly to our family, and she also helped us get the epitaph approved there, which was no small task. Her dedication truly made the impossible possible for us. Their son, Vincent, was incredibly thoughtful and helpful throughout the process. He helped us select the room for the wake and played a part in choosing the design and décor. We received so many comments from guests about how warm, beautiful, and comforting the space was. On the way to the cemetery, Vincent also placed a rose on the step of our house as the procession passed—a simple, deeply touching gesture that meant more to our family than words can express. Camille, another funeral director, was incredibly attentive as well. She made sure our photo slideshow was displayed properly and checked in constantly to ensure everything was just right. Every member of the family and staff treated us with dignity, kindness, and genuine care. We are forever grateful for everything they did to honor my grandmother so beautifully.
