“When my father died, my mother was beyond grief stricken, we had never been in the situation where we needed to plan a funeral service and had no idea where to begin. We were recommended Holt & Holt by a family friend, and they were beyond expectations. Holt & Holt is family run, and it shows. They have truly treated us like members of their family; they were there for us every hour of the day and 7 days a week if we needed them and provided such a loving and supportive presence to all of us, even after the service, letting us know that they would forever be by our side in case the need would arise when we needed someone to talk to or help of any kind. My father was a proud Marine Corps veteran and I am so touched at how hard they fought to ensure his military honors were fulfilled especially in such a turbulent time (government shut down), never giving up even with the constant run arounds and answering machines they encountered and ensuring his Marine brothers and sisters were there to honor him per his final wishes. No words can thank them enough for all the time and effort they put in to making this happen. The service they provided was everything we could have hoped for. From Liana Holt’s display wall that allowed us to display his cherished possessions, to the slideshow they created incorporating all of our favorite family memories (even taking the time to clean up scanned images that were decades old), to William Holt’s thoughtful service. He took so much time interviewing different family members and friends of my father's and was able to capture his personality like they were old friends. They were even able to honor his Scottish ancestry by including a bagpiper into the ceremony. All of these touches that the Holt family incorporated provided a perfect snapshot of his life in such a beautiful, personalized tribute. I do not think anyone could have provided a more personalized and honoring service for my father and I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did for us and for him.”
