I cannot say enough good things about these people. I had just had major surgery and had come out of the hospital early due to my son being, to all intents and purposes, in a coma in another hospital. The day after I got out of hospital I had to have them disconnect the life saving devices and let my son go. My son died the next morning. Not only did Gregory Funeral Services take care of everything, Ms. Gregory drove to my home in Stanley to have me sign the necessary paperwork and took my urn necklace with her. The following week she brought me my filled necklace and my son's ashes in a beautiful urn. She was so unbelievably gracious and kind and I can never thank her enough. I would recommend Gregory Funeral Services to anyone.

This was my mother's choice for my beautiful sisters "Homegoing" needs. I was shocked when told that I needed to bring makeup for my sister! Another funeral director told me that preparation service required special makeup for the deceased, so they provided it! Please be sure to get the right information, obituary announcements in newspapers right etc. Remember, this is a business, unfortunately, they're very busy, so pay attention to details & wishes!!! Assume nothing!

A very poor embalming job was performed on my sister. She looked nothing like herself. My entire family was disple ased. We will never use this service again. The wife is the only one that has a nice personality. We had to provide men from our Family to get in in and out of the church and at the burial. My sister needed a wider casket, but if you didn't have the staff to perform the duties why are you in business. They were not my choice but my sister had stated to her husband she wanted to go there. Never again will my family use them.

Customer service was ok but we were very rushed during our service… i suggest people get life insurance immediately i know it’s not something that people want to think about but trust me it’s well worth it for your family… If u have a loved one that has passed with no insurance please make sure u shop around, my family wasn’t in the right frame of mind and i swear i wish we were because you can definitely find a better and cheaper funeral service! They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate of the families that they bury!

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
