I have known the people at Golf Funeral Home since the early 50's. They have handled the services for my Grandparents and both my parents. They are wonderful people and provide the greatest service. I highly recommend them

I was very disappointed in my experience at the Goff Funeral Home staff when attending a funeral for a friend. Food was brought, but had to go to Family Dollar to get supplies for the family to eat on, eat with and napkins. When one of the staff was asked if there were any of these items in the kitchen, the reply was, “Not unless you brought them.” This was a very UNPROFESSIONAL reply. When we got back from Family Dollar, a staff member was already lifting the lid to the sandwich tray and stated “they were calling her name.” The food was NOT for the staff to eat. I have NEVER been to a funeral home where the staff ate the family’s food. Also, during the service for my dear friend, the female staff member was already pulling the “RESERVED” seat holders from the pews. I can’t think of ANY reason why that would be done during the service. Then found out that the mother of my dear friend had to dress her son to lay him to rest. I will NEVER recommend this funeral home to anyone.

I was appalled by the lack of professionalism during my friend’s funeral service. The staff’s behavior was unsettling and inappropriate for such a sensitive and emotional setting. What should have been a moment of dignity, care, and respect instead felt disorganized and insensitive, causing additional pain for grieving family and friends.

The staff at Goff funeral home is one of best there is anywhere. They have taken care of all of my family and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Keith and his staff will take good care of all your needs during and after your loss. I can't say enough good things about these wonderful people.

Have known and had family there for years and I'm not looking for a hand out. But thought we could get help with me brother with his death looking more certain and him young and Keith and His wife apparently can't do that I'm sure holding on to something with my old family member which I'm not sure exactly what happened. But I won't ever use this funeral home from what he told my dad. These two have always been and become more of scum and I highly recommend don't use. All about money not people.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
