“Very professional friendly staff caring and offered above and beyond. Excellent experience given the circumstances. They were even able to accommodate us with some last minute changes. I would highly recommend their services.”
“April 7, 2019 I just wanted to publicly say to the staff at Gassett Funeral Home and crematory what an outstanding job you did for our family. Needless to say it was not something we had anticipated and I guess we would say no one really ever is totally prepared but this was sudden thing. I of course had spoken with my husband quite a bit as of late as to what and where if something happened to either of us where or who would we want to handle our services. He pretty much like always trusted my judgement and he made mention he would love to looking back at this hillside. After making several calls to other businesses we realized that Gasett was in it for the ministry and were not going to nickel and dime us for every little thing. This is not to say the other places are bad but just to say that Gasett in our circumstances was far better. The staff was so professional, caring, and we felt like we were among family. That is what it is all about! I think so often when people are caught up in the emotions that unfortunately can cloud our judgment. I am so grateful I had the support of my wonderful daughter and son to help me make this final decision. I must say a special shout out to Mike Colquit (mr.FPM) hew I’ll know what that means. He was so kind, spent so much time with us and we never felt pressured, rushed, and he went above and beyond his job for sure. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! Thank you Mike for being there for us and everything you said you would do you did. I hope it is no time soon but you will be the one I would want to handle my affairs and my final goodbye or send off from this old earth. Please anyone if you are like myself and just lost a love one or lose a loved one please check them out before you go any further. I think they will be the best of the best snd affordable and it is sad to have to discuss money but they don’t run these businesses free and their fees were so much better than the two I checked into. Thank you again to the entire staff at Gassett and God bless you for making our special day even more special even though it was a sad time the fact everything’ran like clockwork even with the large crowd. In memory if my sweet husband Byron B. Searcy! Beverly, Misty, and Byron Jr.”
“Overall absolute excellent service and experience. Thank you Eddie, Reese and Jaime for doing such a compassionate and professional job with my sons funeral.”
“So very helpful!!! No pressure at all. They truly care about your loss and it shows. Dan walked me through every step. I was so lost. THANK YOU DAN!!!!!”
“Upon entering the family viewing to see my Father, I was heartbroken at how my Dad was presented. His clothes were disheveled, his hair was sticking straight up in places not parted. The point of contact was not there. I go to the front & ask for a comb/brush & a glass of water to fix my father's hair and tuck his clothes because it is absurd at how they presented him. The funeral program pamphlet listed my father's death year wrong. The overhead screen that was continuously playing in the background listed his year of birth wrong. I waited a couple of weeks to address the funeral home about this and they offered to reprint the pamphlets. I refused this because my father has already been buried. The two Gassett sisters that I met with had such a condescending unremorseful attitude, I was shocked. Asked me did I take pictures to prove what I had to say. The point of contact gentleman stated he told us he would not be there for the funeral, no, he did not. The smallest attention to detail would have been very respectful at my father's funeral. The loudest disrespect was failure to do your job.”
