I am truly grateful for the compassionate care we received from Dillon Funeral Services during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Unfortunately, we had to rely on their services for my brother far too soon. From the moment we arrived, Jerry, Preston, and their entire team treated us with such kindness and empathy. They didn't just provide a service; they embraced us as if we were part of their own family. I was deeply moved by how they cared for my brother's body and how they mourned alongside my mom and dad. It never felt like a mere transaction; it felt like a ministry. Their support made a tremendous difference, helping us navigate through our grief with dignity and love. I cannot thank them enough for their remarkable service and the comfort they provided us during this heartbreaking time. Thank you, Dillon Funeral Services, for taking care of us and our brother as if he were your own.

We had 3 family members that went to be with Jesus in 27 days. Our Aunt, Dad and sister. Dillons cared for our family members and us as a family grieving like we were part of their family! They grieved with us, real heartfelt tears! They felt our loss and pain and you knew you were cared for! Everyone at Dillons, gave their best to us. Paying close attention to all details of a funeral service (these were things that we weren’t thinking of because of shock and grief) they went to great lengths to help us, plot, casket, service, contacting military,, working with insurance, death certificates, flowers, memorials, to cookies and coffee / tea at the viewings. The great detail taken was evident! Our family members all were shown respect and Honor all the way to the smallest detail! Even when my dad was transported from our home, he was covered in an American flag, traveling with honors, shown respect and gratitude for his service in the Air Force from the very beginning. That touched my heart in a very profound way! Our dad was a very humble but proud American Veteran. This detail meant so much to us! My sister was cared for leaving no detail out. It was beautiful! The shock of loosing her 26 days after Daddy was almost unbearable. Everyone At Dillon’s took great care of everything, including us. Honestly, we only got one chance to honor our loved ones lives at death and Dillon’s made it beautiful, memorable and peaceful in our hearts. That says a lot when you are grieving, not thinking right and needing guidance. This is a time that people / businesses can really take advantage of you, but Dillon’s did not! They followed our wishes for our loved ones. It was not complicated, nor heavy. It gave us peace. I believe that helps your heart heal. I don’t know if you ever stop grieving? I do know having peace with the funeral services sure gives relief to the heart. My sisters and I wanted to be pallbearers at our dad’s funeral. He raised us to be strong. It was our last honor to him and for him, however none of us had ever done pall-bearing, Dillons added experienced people in between us to help us not fail. It was a lasting experience/ honor, I will keep in my heart forever! I know my sisters felt the same! Thank you to everyone At Dillon’s. Through this experience you all have become our friends. We are eternally grateful for the love and care shown during one of the hardest times of our lives. Your future business to help others like you helped us is in our prayers. 😘🤗🙏 P.s. Preston: special note of sincere Thanks to you for giving me peace on my loved ones head stone death date. That was above and beyond a blessing to me! Seriously you are such a kind person and I cherish what you did!! God bless you always!

Our family cannot say enough good things about Dillon Funeral Service. They made this process so easy and comfortable for us. We were dreading the planning of the funeral and burial for our Dad, but they were all so patient, understanding, compassionate and accommodating through it all! Preston and their whole staff went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more thankful! We highly recommend Dillon Funeral service! We honestly felt like family when it was all said and done!

The people of Dillon Funeral Services were wonderful to us during the time of our loss of William. The memorial service was flawless. I personally felt great comfort knowing that Dillon was handling everything. I will recommend this service to others in the future, and I will myself use them again and again when the need arises.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
