“Deiters staff provided excellent care for us in a time of loss and grief. They were professional and compassionate. Highest regards for their services.”
“Exceptional Care and Service from Randy Beard & the Deiters Funeral Home Team We cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care and service provided by Randy Beard and his team at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd. Our mother had made her arrangements and prepaid for her services nine years ago, and we were incredibly impressed with how well they honored her wishes. One of the most touching aspects was the meticulous notes they had taken. They had captured "Momisms"—phrases she often said—which made the service feel deeply personal and true to who she was. The entire process was quick and seamless, allowing us plenty of time to ask questions. The facility itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully arranged. We displayed ten picture boards, flowers, and other cherished memories of our mother, and everything was laid out perfectly. The flow of traffic was smooth, ensuring guests could comfortably sign the guest book and connect with our family. Creating a video tribute was effortless. We uploaded 350 photos to their website, and their software automatically generated a beautiful 34-minute tribute that played during the visitation. This video was also attached to her obituary, allowing friends and family to revisit it later. Randy and his team excelled at balancing attentiveness and giving us space to grieve. He was always nearby for a quick question but never intrusive. His professionalism and willingness to accommodate last-minute requests made a difficult day much easier. Our mother had a specific playlist of songs she wanted, and we were relieved that there were no technical issues playing our custom Spotify list. The chairs for the service were comfortable and well-spaced, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Another huge benefit was the on-site event space next to the funeral home, which was perfect for our post-service luncheon. It comfortably hosted 50 people and was spotless, well-stocked, and fully prepared before we arrived. The setup of six large tables with nine chairs each encouraged conversation, bringing together family and friends who may not have known each other well. Laughter, tears, and heartfelt stories were shared over a meal, making it a beautiful continuation of the celebration of our mother’s life. Everything ran smoothly, and we cannot thank Deiters Funeral Home enough for their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. They allowed us to focus on family and memories rather than logistics, which meant the world to us. With heartfelt appreciation, Bob Braun, Tom Braun & Julie Fuller”
“Deiters has a separate building for pets and my cat passed away on Thanksgiving. I did not have a garage to store her until the next day when crematories would be back up running. Multiple other facilities in the Peoria area said “no”. The wonderful people at Deiters met me on a holiday to take my cat’s body and relieved me of that burden. Wonderful people. Thank you very much. Their facility is beautiful and dignified and your pet will receive the best treatment.”
“Madison was such a pleasure to work with. She is so kind, patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. She helped make an overwhelming experience both manageable and meaningful. The whole staff and facility were great.”
“Deiters funeral home in Washington made it a pleasant experience with planning the funeral For my mother. The loss of a loved one is never easy. I would definitely recommend using them, I know I will.”
