Jessica was truly exceptional during one of the most difficult times of my life. From start to finish, she and Kenzie were compassionate, kind, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything went exactly according to plan, handling every detail with care and professionalism. What meant so much to me personally was how supportive and complimentary they were of the planning I put into my precious Mimi’s service. They made me feel seen, heard, and reassured every step of the way. Their genuine empathy brought so much comfort to our family. I truly cannot say enough kind things about Davidson Funeral Home. They are a gift to the families they serve, and I will always be grateful for the care they showed us.

I lost my husband a year ago. Even though this was the hardest thing I have ever been through, the folks at Davidson Funeral home made it easy and simple. We were treated like our family mattered. Kelvin and Grace answered any questions we had, even after the services was over. It means a lot to me that I still get texts messages from them. They go above and beyond.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
