Clayton Funeral Home surpassed all expectations during a challenging time for our family. From the moment we walked through their doors, we were treated with unparalleled compassion and care. Eddie, in particular, stood out with his remarkable attention to detail and resourcefulness. He ensured every aspect of our arrangements was meticulously handled, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Stephanie also deserves immense credit for her kindness and support throughout the process. Despite some unforeseen circumstances along the way, the team at Clayton Funeral Home remained steadfastly committed to easing our burden and ensuring everything proceeded smoothly. They treated us not as clients, but as cherished members of their own family. The level of professionalism and empathy displayed by Eddie, Anna, Stephanie, and the entire staff at Clayton Funeral Home is truly exceptional. They turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one filled with warmth and understanding. Our deepest gratitude to Clayton Funeral Home for their outstanding service during our time of need.

From the moment my sister and I walked into Clayton's Funeral Home to discuss the funeral plans for my nephew, we were treated with compassion, professionalism, kindness and understanding. And when we had some challenges with disruptive mourners, they handled it with grace. (I especially want to thank Eddie for that!) I can't speak highly enough about this wonderful family run business. They took an emotionally confusing time for all and helped us through the process while also giving us our space. I am in agreement with one of your other reviews...if I could give Clayton's a 10 Star review I would! God bless you all!

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
