During our most difficult and heartbreaking moments, their extraordinary level of care provided us with a deep sense of comfort and reassurance. When my mother passed away unexpectedly in August after a six-year battle with lung cancer, the entire family was blindsided. She had just received a positive report from her oncologist earlier that month, so her passing was a shock to all of us.
