What families have said

Recent reviews from families who used Camero Crematory And Funeral Home. Reviews are sourced from Google Places and shown verbatim — we do not edit or filter for sentiment.

On May 4, 2025, our mother was called to be with our God, though it saddened our hearts, having to prepare funeral arrangements for our loving mother was the most difficult thing for our family or any family to do with the patience and sincerity from Camero Staff Members, Evangelina Solis( Funeral Director) and Ms. Nelda Jasso eased our pain as these thoughtful ladies, along with other staff members, listened to our requests, answered our questions and never making us feel like just another customer being serviced. Ms. Solis and Ms. Jasso were truly genuine, showing us that even at our time of sorrow and pain, preparing to lay our Mother to rest, they truly cared. Sincerely Flores Family

They are short spoken and don’t answer your calls. Respond very dry when you make the trip all the way over there just to speak to someone. They made mistakes on the memory cards with the incorrect prayer lettering including misspelling of words and only offered memorial pamphlet in black and white… very plain unfortunately! I was very upset because they chose a pastor for my father’s services and the pastor only showed up for the rosary/prayer service (mind you at the incorrect time, he showed up at 3pm when the prayer service started at 6pm). They did not provide a pastor on the day of the funeral when the pastor that was hired didn’t show up so my father had no pastor to pray over his body on the morning of the funeral, not even at the cemetery site. They definitely were very unprofessional. I had a cousin say a verse out of the Bible through her phone at the cemetery because this company failed to replace the pastor that didn’t show up! I am very disappointed till this day and my father passed a year ago! I don’t recommend this place at all and regret letting them take charge of our beloved father’s services!

Camero Funeral Home was very attentive and helpful during our time of loss. Vangie took very good care of our funeral arrangements so that we could grieve for the loss of Our Loved One. I would Highly Recommend this Funeral Home.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
