The professional, accommodating, and friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure my family was happy with my father’s final goodbye. They made a difficult and stressful time as easy as they possibly could. While I hope your family does not need their services, if you do lose a loved one I highly recommend Burrier Queens. They gave my Dad the goodbye he deserved.

Although this is not about the funeral home itself, it is about their "heartfelt sympathy tribute " flower shop and therefore does reflect on their business as it is there store on their site. My Aunt recently passed away and being out of town I picked flowers from their shop on behalf of our family as well as having a tree planted. I only found out after the funeral (and only because one of my Sisters lives there and didn't see our flowers and questioned our cousin) that those flowers were never delivered. My Cousin further questioned the funeral home who confirmed that there was no card and no flowers were delivered - even though I was charged $182.00 for them and received a order confirmation the day before. This was extremely upsetting as we were not able to honor my Aunt and her family and their response was even more discouraging. I got this email from them "Hello, Thank you for reaching out the Tribute Store. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. As per request, we will process the cancellation of this order and the refund will be back on your account in 1-3 business days. IF you haver any question or concern, please let us know. Thank you." Like this was going to make up for us not being able to honor our Aunt and let our family know that we cared about them. Absolutely disgraceful! Do not purchase any flowers from them on-line, find and use your own florist and check to make sure you are not charged with flowers never being delivered!

We are from the Fairfax, VA area, and when my father-in-law died nearby, we had meetings with 2 nearby funeral homes, and were horrified at their prices. When we decided to have him buried up in the Union Bridge, MD area, the place where he was eventually buried recommended Burrier-Queen, and, looking back on it, we are so grateful that they did. Tyler at Burrier-Queen was excellent to work with, their prices were *less than half* of what the places in our area charged - even though they had to drive multiple hours to retrieve the body and the casket and then again to deliver it to our church in Potomac, MD! They were warm and friendly, professional and organized, all for less than half the cost of what these crooks in our area would charge. We were also very happy with the flowers their florist provided. Overall an excellent experience, given the obviously personally terrible circumstances.

The people at Burrier-Queen are compassionate and professional. Despite being busy, as evident by their obituary wall, we never felt rushed or neglected. I would highly recommend Burrier-Queen to support you during this trying time.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
