What families have said

“My heart is filled with gratitude for the care and amazing service we received at Benson Funeral Home when I lost my husband. Bruce Dorn and the staff are outstanding! They were recommended to us by a family friend and everything they said was true. From the minute we walked through the front door, we were treated with so much kindness and compassion. Beautiful execution of helping us understand the process in every way. Thank you for everything!”
“Bruce was absolutely amazing and made the whole process easy to understand. He stayed 2 hours late to make sure my Mom was ready to come home with us the same day we brought her there and I can't say thank you enough.”
“Bruce is exactly the type of person who should be working in this industry: thoughtful, kind, compassionate, helpful. He made every step of this experience as positive as it could be considering the nature of the business. I chose Benson Funeral Home based on the amazing reviews they had received and I hope this review does the same for someone else. I could not recommend Benson more highly. Truly a five star experience.”
“Bruce and every single staff person I interacted with at Benson showed the utmost compassion, kindness and care when dealing with my father’s passing. I am grateful to have crossed paths with Bruce during one of the most difficult times in my life. He was so patient with me and my family while we navigated the loss of our dad. If you need help with the loss of a loved one, Benson’s is a place where you will receive kindness, guidance, support and upfront information about all of the proceedings through your loss. Words cannot express my gratitude for these amazing individuals. Thank you Bruce, Patrick, Brenda and everyone else here at Benson for all that you’ve done and all that you do. Rest Peacefully Dad 🕊️”
“Let me start by saying that I don't typically write reviews, but if I could give 10 stars I would! My father recently passed away in the St Cloud hospital and I live out of state. I have never had to handle final arrangements and I had no idea where to even start. My first call was to Benson and it should have been my last. Michael was very patient and caring while he explained everything. He added in the financial information in a very tactful manner, making it the least of their concerns. I called another local funeral home and their first topic of discussion was $ and just felt rushed with no helpful information. I decided to allow Benson Funeral & Cremation to take care of my father. They emailed me all the paperwork and allowed me to fax it back being out of state. They were very patient with me and answered all my question sometimes more than once as my brain was not functioning at full capacity! Brenda and Michael took care of everything from making arrangements with the hospital to filing all the paperwork. I traveled from Arkansas to Minnesota and just four days later was able to pick up my fathers remains and multiple copies of death certificates which I was dreading have to deal with and wait for to proceed with all other final arrangements. Thank You Michael, Brenda and the rest of the Benson Funeral Staff for everything. I could not have had a better experience at a very difficult time in my life!! Meggan Draper”
