We had a very good experience with Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home during a very difficult time for our family. From beginning to end, they were compassionate, respectful, and professional. My dad was very well taken care of, and we chose cremation services through them. The staff kept in constant communication, which gave us so much peace of mind. Lloyd was especially amazing. He took the time to meet with us and personally dropped off my mom’s keepsake necklace for my dad’s ashes. That meant more to us than words can say. We’re truly grateful for the care and kindness they showed our family.

Everyone was so very kind, informative and helpful.and helpful. Chloe met with me several times before Mom passed and allowed us to set up pictures and other items the evening before the services. We have used this funeral home many times before and are never disappointed. An added bonus was getting the refund check to Mom's estate within 2-3 weeks after the funeral, instead of the usual 6-8 weeks, and with no effort on my part.

It was a pleasure working with Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. It is always so very difficult losing a loved one, but the staff was very understanding, helpful and professional. They helped me make my husband's celebration of life gathering/service to be the best possible for he deserved the best. All was done to my specifications and everyone that attended told me how beautiful and special it was. This was due in part with working with the wonderful staff at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. I highly recommend anyone losing a loved one to reach out to them with your needs.

Recently handled my lovely wife's services. Everything was very professional and top notch. Nadia was our director and she stayed on top of the arrangements and helped make a very painful period a bit easier by making my tasks simpler. The service was exactly what we agreed to. No hiccups. I hope the next service that involves my family is for ME, I've had enough of laying my loved ones to rest, and I've made it clear to my children that I want them to use Baker Steven's Parramore. I fully recommend them.

I had my wedding here in May and it was beautiful. We were in the smaller chapel and used the event center. Lloyd made sure we had everything we needed to from tableclothes and dishes to the perfect lighting and music. I highly recommend using the event center for any special event.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
