I can't say enough good things about Anderson & Underwood! We had my Mom's service there June 28-29 2025 and they were absolutely amazing! No one wants to have to plan a funeral or deal with the process but sometimes it's a necessity. John Phillips did an amazing job with helping us prepare for everything, always answered the phone whenever I would call and was always helpful and compassionate. Mr. Anderson was there for the service on both days and was always making sure everything was how we wanted it and if they could make any changes or help in any way. The #1 thing I like most about them is they still hold true to the small town values and they represent the local people. That's a very hard thing to find in today's world. We really appreciate everything they did for my Mom and her family!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. When my father died, we were looking for a nice yet simple place to cremate my father and hold the service. We worked with Jordan and he handled everything! So much in fact that he even went out of his way to get a sign language interpreter for our family. Jordan kept us informed with everything and did anything that we asked for or requested of him. He was professional, understanding, and you could tell that he really cared. Also, we were expecting to pay a lot of money, but the price that they gave us was almost unbelievable. It was incredibly reasonable and Jordan did not attempt to sell us ‘extra’ stuff. He allowed us to use our own box for my fathers ashes and didn’t even suggest using there urns. You could tell that all they wanted was for us to have what we want and they facilitated everything. Lastly, we had the whole place to ourselves which was nice. Loosing a family member is tough, but Anderson-Underwood made it a bit easier. I can’t thank them enough.

How honors are coordinated

Military funeral honors are guaranteed at no cost for any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The funeral home arranges the honors detail by contacting the deceased's last unit or the nearest active-duty installation of the appropriate branch and submitting the DD-214 to verify eligibility.

For requests less than 72 hours from service time, families can call the Department of Defense's expedited honors line at 1-877-MIL-HONR (1-877-645-4667). See the full honors protocol.
